Oh my, now you have a puppy and you need a dog trainer!!!

As your breeder, I have personally trained my dogs for the last 30 years and know what works and what doesn’t work. I have prepped my own dogs for all kinds of competitions: lure coursing, barn hunt, sheepherding, obedience, agility and conformation. Clicker training with high value treats is my favored method. I am NOT a believer in all positive training and do not believe in harnesses for your aussie. You will have ZERO control of your dog if you put them on a harness. I favor halti’s and pinch collars as a mode of communicating effectively to my dog. I firmly believe in making dog training FUN!! The use of toys and lots of verbal praise is another mode of letting your dog know they’ve done good!

In an effort to help all my puppy buyers, you can book a 1 hour consultation with me where I go through several issues and work with your dog at a park near your home. The fee is $50 for a 1 hour lesson.
